At the chart table

The tidal calculator runs in your browser. Its figures are not sent to us by the calculator, and they are not saved by the site. This site does not use an account, enquiry form or analytics script. Your browser requests fonts from Google, which receives technical information such as your IP address as part of providing them.

When you write to us

If you email [email protected] or [email protected], we receive your return address alongside your pilotage notes, which the Trust uses to respond and to keep a record of the enquiry where appropriate. Avoid sending sensitive personal or vessel information unless it is needed to explain your question.

Our hosting and email providers may process technical records necessary to deliver and secure their services. We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, administration or legal obligations. Ask us if you would like access to or correction or deletion of your personal information; applicable law may limit a request in particular circumstances.
